Luxury hotels in Central London are reporting brisk ethnic bridal events with Asian, Arabs and Jewish wedding being the prime clients. An average ethnic wedding can cost up to £60,000 and there are usually 2 parties one at a luxury 5 stars hotel and another at a different venue with each catering in excess of 500 guests.
The multicultural wedding market in the UK is worth in excess of £25 billion with the Asian market is worth £12 billion a year, which is more than twice as much as the traditional UK’s £5.5 billion, and this is a figure that is growing by 25 per cent each year.
